I recently bought a replacement battery for my dell vostro 3500 series. Unfortunately the laptop issues a warning when turning it on the it does not recognize the battery and the system wont be able to charge the battery. i have tried  updating my BIOS  so as to enable my laptop charge my battery ,but i can't run the update as every time i plug in my AC when the battery is connected the laptop turns off the AC. i cant use both the AC and the battery at the same time as the laptop shut down the AC when the battery is in. help
