I hope someone can help.  I have an Inspiron D820 and am running WindowXP.  My keyboard is being bizarre.  It's sporadic but when I type certain characters on the left side of the leyboard - I've noticed A S D - instead of just the letter I get a string of characters.  Sometimes it triggers a behaviour, puts the laptop in sleep mode, changes the volume setting, moves the cursor to another point on the page.

 

So far I've observed it in IE adfsnd (like the preceding) in Firefox and notepad.  It doesn't seem to happen if I use the onscreen keyboard. 

 

I've scanned my c drive with AVG and McAfee and found no virus.  I've run the diagnostic

 

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?-
