Inspiron E1705 display spins?
I have a Inspiron E 1705 laptop. In fact this is the second laptop Dell has sent me. The first one had the same problem and after 6 months of talking to Dell and doing all kinds of fixes including sending the laptop in to see if the video cable was loose (it wasn't) then reinstalling the operating system the condition still existed. They finally replaced my laptop. Now this new laptop is having the same condition and of course my warranty has expired so no tech support no help. When the laptop is on the condition can start when I'm using the laptop or when it's idle in a few hours or a few days or weeks before it will have a spinning episode I never can tell when it will start spinning. When it does start spinning the only thing I can do is hold down the power button until it goes off then restart. It loads fine and no data loss after a spinning episode, I can't seem to find any triggers that start the spinning. Someone else must have had this same condition and has had it repaired or fixed. I would like to know if there are others that have had this same condition and what they did to correct it. Thank you
