Hi, 

I have this 2 year old laptop, out of warranty. One day I found that the battery wasn't charging while the adapter was plugged in. And no indication that the adapter was connected. The laptop worked for as long as the battery had charge but won't work with adapter. The adapter itself is OK - works on another laptop.

I suspect the DC jack on the laptop. Any suggestions? And if it is the jack, where would it be available ( link please) and precautions while replacing it.
