I have recomended and bought Six Dell Latitude E5510 laptop for our company users 10days ago..  win7 pro and 2 GB RAM.We are using one java applet forms based web application works only in company network.The first screen of the application working properly and when we click the application link to give the username and password it is freezing.The cursor is not moving..it is stuck..and one pop up will appearing in the notification area that "The colour scheme has been changed to Windows 7 Basic" .

I am  using dell precision T1500 with win7 Pro ,but I never faced a problem like this.

I have faced same issues in some dell and IBM laptops.That time I updated display driver and reduce resolution to 1024x768 and the application was working there..

I have tried same troubleshooting in Dell Latitude E5510.But no use...

I spend 2 days to sortout this issue,but I couldn't able to fix.Later my manager angry on me that If the application is not supporting the mentioned model laptop,then why you recommended?? Because of the work emergency I downgraded to windows XP pro and application works as usual.

I want to work that application in windows7.Please help me to sortout this issue ASAP.Because I am in lot of pressure.If anybody knows the dell support email Id please let me know
