I've had the same issue with several of the 2210s lately and no fix has helped.  I've tried every method suggested and then some.  All I ever get is a padlock.  If the machine is connected, it shows up as no VGA input because it's actually connected through DVI, but I can't change it back to DVI or auto or anything else.

Whose idea was it to lock this menu anyway?  What will a user do with it that would be catastrophic (besides locking the menu)?

I also find it odd that we suddenly have several of them that are like this and no way to get them unlocked.
