Powerconnect 5224
OK, the 5224 is now seeing the network, so I put my new HP Proliant ML370 G3 server on it, the server has a Gigabit nic, and sure enough it reported connecting at 1gb, great. However, when users connect to it for files from the 3com 3300 10/100 switch, it crawls! Are there any settings I need to set on the port I'm using as an uplink to the 3com switch? or vica-versa on the 3com? Heres the port status on the 5224..

Information of Eth 1/1
Basic information:
Port type: 1000T
Mac address: 00-0D-56-46-EA-49
Configuration:
Name:
Port admin: Up
Speed-duplex: Auto
Capabilities: 10half, 10full, 100half, 100full, 1000full,
Broadcast storm: Enabled
Broadcast storm limit: 256 packets/second
Flow control: Disabled
Lacp: Disabled
Port security: Disabled
Port security action: None
Current status:
Link status: Up
Port operation status: Up
Operation speed-duplex: 100half
Flow control type: None
The operation speed-duplex is showing 100half because its not in the switch at the moment, but on a hub, when its plugged into the switch it reports 100full
If any one as any suggestions, I'd love to hear them!!
Thanks in advance,
Alan.
