I'd like to get some help on getting SNTP to work on Dell PowerConnect 5524. It seems to be simple to set up, but it doesn't really work. I can ping the NTP server but the clock remains unsynchronized for some reason. I've scrolled the forums on and on and there seems to be a solution by adding a specific security management permit rule as switch will drop the SNTP traffic if that rule isn't there. I added the rule but time remains unsynced. Can anyone show me a proper way of doing this? I'm running the latest firmware:
