I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 running Windows Vista.

 

About a month ago my DVD R/W drive (compact disk rewritable Ultra Speed) stopped showing up under "My Computer", the device manager only shows 1 drive (ST980811AS ATA Device).

 

I can no longer play CDs/DVDs.

 

Does anyone have any tips on how to troubleshoot?
