Go to SolutionDell Poweredge Corrupt OS files
Hello,
We have a Dell Poweredge 2900 running SBS 2003 Standard, it ran out of disk space completely a couple of days ago and refused to boot. We have cleared out some space by booting to Linux but now get a C:\Windows\System corrupt or missing file error, saying we should enter the SBS2003 disk an run recovery tools.
When booting from the disks Windows can't find the drives. I have checked under system configuration and we have the following storage devices listed:
Ultra ATA Storage Controller
Dell PERC 5/i Intergrated RAID Controller
Adaptec 39320a SCSI
I have downloaded all the drivers I can see that match the above devices from the Dell Support website (entering the service tag, it seems to list hundreds of drivers!) but still get the same error.
Could someone point be to the correct driver download location?
Thanks,
Josh
