Poweredge 4300 question about reboot
Hello,
We have a poweredge 4300. We were experiencing a hesitation during the reboot process. The machine would begin to start up and then it would hesitate and the last message on our monitor would read POWER SUPPLY PARALLELING BOARD RELEASE 2.25. I spoke to Dell Tech Support last night and they had me download these two files:
a42cust.exe, PE4300-BIOSA12.exe
I have updated the server with these two files. My question is how could this problem just start occurring? Is this an indicator of possibly a larger problem? Raid 5 adapter problem? Other hardware problems? Is there a way I can be more pro-active in determining problems with the server?
