Hi, Today is a bad server day.

Our server is a Dell PowerEdge R510 - RAID Controller PERC H700

It looks like it lost the RAID 5 configuration that consists of 6 HD - 2TB each.

Currently only 1 HD is Online on the VD, 4 are Unassigned and 1 is as foreign.

The RAID is currently set as offline meaning I cannot import the foreign disk as a first step.

After researching many discussions on this forum and a lot of Google search it makes me believe that I need to delete the current and single VD and create a new one without initializing hopping that my OS boots up again.

Our main concern is that we cannot afford to lose any data with this procedure.

Anyone could share feedback and experience managing Dell servers, so we are certain this is a right step moving forward?
