I see that a lot of folks have problems with Win7 fresh install and not being able to install any drivers, due to:

"The procedure entry point AddDIIDDirectory could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNAL32.dll."

This is my take on why this problem exists:    When your Win7 computer was new, the drivers on websites were of that same time period, so it all worked. But now the drivers have been updated, and it doesn't work, maybe due to MS updates. So the answer is to update your computer before adding the drivers. Or find old drivers, without updating.

I have used this for years now, no problems. There is also a link to it on Microsoft's website in the forums section, been there for years.

Before installing the sp2, I downloaded as many Win7 updates from MS as I could; but with no joy. So maybe this particular ms update in this SP2 is now unavailable.
