The PointStick on my new corporately issued 5511 is much too sensitive.  Clicking the middle button and touching up or down scrolls many many lines to be able to read, or control scrolling.

But downloading the Dell PointStick application does not appear to help:  There is no separate scrolling sensitivity or pointer speed function??

Even reducing pointer speed to minimum results in scrolling too many lines.  And even then pointer motion is too slow.

Thinkpad trackpoints have separate sliders for:

- Trackpoint sensitivity

- Trackpoint motion

- Trackpoint scroll speed

 

Can someone confirm that this is the setting for utilizing the StickScroll function?  Maybe I've got this all wrong and this is not where stickscroll speeds are configured?
