We have upgraded the FLARE OE for VNX5100 lately.  We are using Distributed Monitoring (Instead of ESRS).

However, there is problem when Email is delivered to ‘emailalert@emc.com’.  According to EMC, it is a problem of MS Exchange Server (Office 365).

We just wonder whether we can use Centralized Monitoring with ESRS.  According to some fellows, ESRS Server can handle mail to emailalert@emc.com’ without using on premise SMTP Server.  Is my understanding correct ?

If yes, we may reconfigure our ESRS Server.
