Hi, i have a dell dimension 8200 firstly for no aparent reason an error message appeared saying "F1 to continue, F2 to enter set-up". the bios recognised the drive but when i try to boot the pc an error message says there's no harddisk, sometimes the error message says "Diskette 1 seek failure" i tryed reinstalling which went well till i restarted the pc then got the error messages again. i've checked the jumpers & cables which are all ok, i ran dells diagnostic disk & everything past & the harddrive tests failed so i thought it was a simple thing of changing the harddisk, but on installing a new harddrive (which i took from a working pc) its still given out the error messages. PLEASE can someone HELP!!!
