Shrinking a 500GB Mirror HD

I recently purchased a Dell XPS desktop 9100 with a 500GB Mirror harddrive, running Win 7 64-bit.

I wanted to Shrink my C: drive (with the OS and Apps) to 150GB and create a D: drive with what is left over, 350GB (minus overheard). But when I go into Disk Management to Shrink the C: drive, the  'least'  I can Shrink C: down to is 250GB.

Is there some limitation on how much you can Shrink a Mirror drive that contains the OS? Is there a way to Shrink it down to 150GB?

Thanks in advance for your help!
