Dell Migrate

Guess I'm too old or just dumb, but when you start the process on your old PC and then check you new PC, and you only have one monitor, how can this be done without 2 monitors.  I'm moving from a Win 10 XPS desktop to a newer Win 10 XPS desktop.  To me, you would have to have 2 monitors to see the progress on both machines.  Tech support doesn't seem to understand my question.  Am I really that dense to not understand this?

@gary125  I believe you have purchased Dell Data migrate service.

No this can not be done by yourself without 2 monitors. The app requires a few clicks from both machines. You will need help from Dell technical support.

    Call them and

    - Connect monitor with old computer and give than remote access

    - Now connect monitor to new computer and give them remote access.

    - Dell tech now can see both screens and would be able to initiate data migration, you on the other hand can see only the new one and ensure that all files are migrated.
