We need a test system where we can test the IPMI packet flows from remote system to the BMC through our ethernet controller card. I assumme that when one use DRAC card on 2950 or 840 it gives full BMC stack support. So can such system be used for testing our purpose? Our card uses PCI slots and SMBus interface for BMC. With the DELL system with DRAC card can our card be able to talk to BMC through SMBus?
