Hi,

 

My machine arived with Dell's Mcafee trial installed.

 

I have since thoroughly removed this (I thought) and have installed Norton 2004 which I have an existing license for, and prefer.

 

However, windows security centre keeps popping up a message at startup that mcafee is installed, but not operating.

 

Any ideas how I can convince security centre that it should be monitoring Norton, which is running, and fully updated also.
