I couldn't get Windows Update to install today's (4-4-17) definitions update for Microsoft Security Essentials for Win 7, 32-bit. Gives error code 0X80070002.

Followed MS instructions to fix this error by stopping WU and deleting certain files/folders from the SoftwareDistribution folder and then restarting WU.

Now WU just searches endlessly for updates. MSE also won't update itself, either.

Anybody else?
