Sorry folks, been looking around and can't find any general discussion about creating vastvp tier policy.  Maybe somebody can point me to existing threads, docs, or white papers that I couldn't find?

We are very comfortable with Virtual Provisioning on VMax, have been doing it for a while.  I just installed new VMax running 75 code, have created datadevs and pools for EFD, FC, and SATA, and am now going through "symfast" man pages trying to figure out how to define the fastvp policy and any general best practices.  Not surprising, man page doesn't have a lot of discussion about why, just how.
