I am working on a VMAX performance issue and would like to create a workload (preferably using IOMETER) with 4000-5000 IOPS, 100% seq read and 24kb IO size. I want to test the read response time on the VMAX for this device but the problem I am facing with iometer is that it creates a file and then perform reads on to it. Since all are seq reads and perhaps on the same track, the read response time i get on VMAX is close to 0 ms.

How do i create a test workload (using iometer or any other tool) to test the read response time on VMAX? Appreciate your assistance..
