Hi everyone this is my first time here, so hopefully all the old timers won't start shouting at me saying 'your on the wrong page get off'

I have an inspiron 1300 running XP and recently when i shut down, an error page comes up asking me to click end task. the title is SPRTCMD.exe. I have norton anti virus running if that make any help to anyone, wish i didn't though becaue it really runs slow with it on.

Any help or advise would be appreciated.
