USB cable

I have multiple USB calbes.  Does it matter which one I use for my devices?  For instance, can I use the USB cable that came with my digital camera for my voice recorder?

The cables for most camera have the very small plug on the camera side . . If you recorder also has the tiny plug you should be able to use the cable

Well it may make a difference if you use a USB 1.xx cable with a USB 2.0 device... odds are the device and or USB port will then only do USB 1.x speeds.

You can look at more info about USB over at wwww.usb.org that should be of some help.

Although you will see cables advertised as "USB 2.0", the specifications for 1.1 & 2.0 are the same, so you shouldn't pay a premium for the latter. That's how I read the specs, anyway.
