I have an XPS 8500 and am interested in replacing the hard drive with an SSD.  Please tell me if I can use an SSD (would like either 256 or 512 GB) and what do I need to buy in addition to the SSD, like any cables or adapters.

Also, since I am running Win 10 Home edition on it, will Microsoft have an issue with a fresh install?
