XPS 8700, Windows Upgrade failure

Dell XPS 8700 Intel i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40HZ

I tried to upgrade Windows 10 but encountered failure at each attempt. My computer has only a mouse and monitor attached, has all drivers updated per Dell Assistant and Device manager.  I have removed 3rd party virus programs, and run upgrades with serviced and programs loads turned off. It failed on the second boot, each time without an error code. Rebooted into old system. Finally used the ISO file to upgrade (saving files and programs); same failure at second boot, but now with error code: 0x01900101-0x040017.

I went into the log files, found 3 drivers with problems. I easily uninstalled 2 of the drivers, unneeded ones like MS Print to PDF. The third one is the problem.

I looked up the OEM142 file in the Win 10 INF folder: showed Intel 82801 USB, July 9, 2013, Ver 9.1.9 Build 1004. This apparently is not a properly updated driver that allows an upgrade to the latest Windows 10. Dell nor Device Manager claims current update, so I cannot do it via these two methods.

How do I determine what the latest driver is, and do I need to get it from Intel? What do I search on in Intel site to know it will be compatible with my system?

NB: I  find Dell Assistant a poor preforming service except for the ease to update the Bios with the download file. Unfortunately Assistance keeps telling me I need an update although it confirms I have the latest A14. Which is correct, a new hidden update, or the correct one installed?
