Alienware OC controls Infinite Loading Alienware OC Controls Application 1.3.11.1300, A00
Hello i have an Alienware Area 51 R5, and cant use OC controls, it has this Infinite Loading, i also have 2 Laptop M15 R2 that have the same problem, i have tried almost everything and cant get them to work, i have uninstalled and reinstalled the AWCC and OC controls numerous times using "Revo Uninstaller", i have clean the registry and i think that the problems is with this Version 1.1.11.1300, because the problem is in the Pc and Laptops, also it keeps asking me to install OCCcontrols every time i open the AWCC, can you give me some advice how to fix this, i am out of ideas ??

Cool. I'll have a look at Ryzen Master. By the way, having different DLLs in each different package for the AMDRyzenMaster.dll should not matter. Whenever an EXE is run, it will use the DLLs that are along side it in the folder over getting them from anywhere else (e.g. registered in the Windows registry). This ensures that the package is running the correct DLL it was compiled against during development.

Yes, I use MSI afterburner all the time...
Find it useful to see if my CPU is bottlenecking or the other way around.

Hello, I found a solution to this problem, worked for me with every kind of issue you guys were having
1. get revo uninstaller
2. Uninstall everything alienware related
3. go to dells website and put in service tag
4. install just the alienware command center, not OC
5. Wait until the "need to install OC" comes up, do not rush it as it might cause problems
6. don't restart, just let it load and oc and fan controls should be back!
Done on
Alienware M17 R2 with an i-7 7900k and 2070 maxq

I wish they would take AWCC off the Windows Store!

I use afterburner. I find it way better than the included Dell controls. They should just bundle things like Afterburner, GPU-Z, CPU-Z, HWinfo64, AMD Ryzen master etc... instead of trying to make their own software. It's almost embarrassing how far behind the Dell software is compared to free programs.

so i have r10(fresh installed window), did everything they said in the other thread, and never worked for me, and today i got it fixed. everything works now..... here is what 1: install all the audio drivers from dell first than i update the nvidia driver from dell (the latest you can find for yours dell website). note: when i install driver from NVidia site they didnt work , the infinite loop still there) everything went back normal after restart. i guess its the different driver from dell and nvidia? ... hope this helps someone out if they have same problem .

You can restart AWCCSERVICE:
then if does not stop the spining, then activate OCCcontrol service manually as described, you have to do it a few times, it will work eventually.

Hey great find. Yep confirm that Kaspersky is interfering with AWCC Service and OCControl.Service.exe. Be nice to know if it is just Kaspersky antivirus or if others are effecting it too. I also tried adding exclusions and safe apps and nothing seems to help other than turning Kaspersky off. Hmmm.

Hey I tried this solution, which did not work for me:
https://www.dell.com/community/Alienware-Desktops/Kaspersky-and-AWCC-incompatible-on-Aurora-R11/td-p/7824361
I'm still just letting OCControl.Service.exe start ASAP rather than delayed. This always works for me even with Kaspersky running. Obviously the OCControl.Service.exe is activating before Kaspersky gets a chance to interfere with it.

Probably last update for me... I switched to Bitdefender. No issue with AWCC and OC Controls now. Thanks for that INXSEX.
