Area-51 R3, adding 32GB
Hi there,
Just wanted to confirm. Is this the right order to install additional 32gb (2x16) ram to an Alienware Area-51 R3? (Threadripper 1950x)
Basically, I'm leaving the two original 16x2 ram modules in the two slots on the right, and I'm adding two Corsair modules on the left.

Thank you for contacting us. I have checked your inquiry about the RAM upgrade on your out of warranty Area-51 R3. They should be fine in any order as long as the Corsair memory matches our OEM memory (TP9W1 DDR4, 2666MHz, 1Gx72, Unbuffered, 288 pin, Dual Rank, 1.2v, Non-ECC). Because these are third party components, we cannot guarantee that they will work. You can test them out but it will be under your own responsibility. We are unable to provide support if any issues are caused by the third party memory modules.
