Area-51 R5, fan speed up issue

After a while my top and mid fans will speed up to max. I tried resetting the cmos battery and tried turning it off and on again. This issue would randomly come back now and then and seems to go away in a couple days now and then. I tried to clean the fans but there’s usually no effect. Is there any way I can consistently fix this or fix it for once and for all?

What are your CPU and GPU temps when the fans ramp up? Are your Thermal and Power profiles set to "Balanced"? Any overclocking? You may need to re-paste your CPU water block.

I can't install AWCC as it says it not compatible with my computer. I tried HWInfo and msi Afterburner but they had no effect in terms of controlling the case fans.

The CPU temps are 30 - 40 degrees Celsius  and the GPU are 40 - 45 degrees Celsius. I do not know how to change profiles because im using windows 11 and I can't seem to get AWCC to work due to missing file or something. However there are modes in the BIOS for OC but I never touch those. Also no overclocking that I know of is done.

The temps seem to be good. Interesting that it is affecting top and mid fans only. I believe those are controlled by one or both of the temp sensors inside the chassis. Perhaps the lack of AWCC or any overriding control from the pre-boot menus has something to do with the issue. Can you post a photo of the inside of your rig?

1. That is the problem to fix. AFAIK, you need AW-CC to control the case=fans. What file and version of AW-CC are you trying to install?

2. You can use that, but it is only for the fan(s) on the video card.

I was able to get a working AWCC now and I see the curve and moved the points but I can't see any noticeable difference when I adjust the curve.

the version is 5.5.8.0

Make sure the 2 temp sensors are securely connected. I have all 3-pin fans in my R5, so they are not being modulated, and run at a constant 1100 rpm. However, if I disconnect one of the temp sensors from the mobo, all the fans start screaming.

I checked and they are connected. I tried unplugging them and there wasn't a noticeable effect it had on the fans.
