Area51 (late 2014) r2
Morning, I am looking for some information about using ssd's in place of the hdd's in 2 slots because I have 2 crucial ssd;s that are 1tb and think they will RAID to become 2tb storage. Will They? I think I would use a Crucial 2tb or (brand x) as #1 ssd slot. I think all will say ssd's in raid0 is overkill, but I am proud owner of 2.

Well, you can. And it works. I still have only the 6 core haswell processor, but my machine is up to par. !
I was afraid because I tried this before, and failed because (I guess) the os was on the raid ssds on the hdd plug ins. (plug-ins). And the system wouldn't go uefi boot. But install to the ssd slot, and "primo".
