Aurora R10, 5700 XT version?
Hello All,
Just ordered an Aurora R10 with the 5700 XT (w/3700x) and I'm curious as to which version I should expect?
After googling for a bit, it appears that there are TWO different versions (blower and dual fan). Is there anyway to know which version I should be expecting?
Thanks

Awesome thanks, I hope so.
I saw this: https://www.dell.com/community/Alienware-Desktops/Aurora-R10-OEM-AMD-RX-5600-Nvidia-equivalent/m-p/7712377#M33740
and got nervous.

I thought the blower 5700XT was primarily shipped on older models like the Aurora R9 or early R10, and the double fan version was the latest model. But you'll find out for sure soon enough!

"AWAUR10 A886BLK PUS" came from Amazon. Just look at the video out ports and compare to below.
0PM86 AMD RX 5700 XT NAVI 10 XT, 8GB, DP/DP/DP/USB Type-C
4FCCX AMD/ECS RX 5700 XTD, 8GB, DP/DP/DP/HDMI

The pictures in our tool could be incorrect. Other R10 users will need to check their cards and post their pictures with sales SKU numbers.
DELL-Cares never got your service tag via private message. It would have helped isolate video card part numbers, etc. What ports are your video card?

Hey Chris M,
I didn't have the service tag because I bought it from AAFES(they didnt provide at purchase). I received the comp and it has the dual-fan version.
I appreciate all your input and help!
Oh, ports are: DP, HDMI, DP, DP in that order.

Yup,
Is that sales mod also the reason mine shipped with the VRM heatsinks and 8-pin EPS even though it didn't have liquid cooling?

No. Sales mod numbers always have to be translated to Dell part numbers. I have no idea why yours shipped with VRM heatsinks and 8-pin EPS and others did not.

Great. So that confirms that your Aurora R10 shipped with sales mod GD78H which translate to part 4FCCX. The second one pictured above. It would be great if someone could post a picture of the ports on 0PM86.

If you go to here with your machine it should automatically detect your service tag.

Don't post it out here in public, but if you boot into the Aurora R10 BIOS, the main screen should show a Service Tag. Below is a picture of the main screen showing the trainers test Aurora R10 =
