Aurora R10 Case Migration Project
So my recent frankendell went well. R10 Ryzen with 5700X cpu oem ram.

First problem there is no I/O shield to remove from R10 Ryzen Edition.
Not an issue. Why because the I/O shield for R5 R6 R7 on ebay fits perfectly.
Next issue is the usb ports and audio. I suspect the Front IO piece for the R5 5XMRX works here as well but I havent tested it yet. Both USB and audio can be bypassed with specific pins Jumpered I think same as 8930 project.
XPS 8930 Case Transfer Project
I purchased a full R10 front panel with power button and audio and usb so that I can bench test this theory once I get the parts in.
Power button LED is NOT same as R10 board

Are you building in a 3rd party case?

Here's what I did on my R10 re-case:
Used everything from the R10 except the case itself. Even the power supply, Killer Wi-Fi and it's antennas, of course the Dell case fans along with 4 more ARGB 120mm fans.
Works great & no errors in bios check. I reused the front I/O you can see it in the top of the case under Lord Vader's bust. All parts were re-installed in this case including the front alienhead button you can see in the picture. I haven't even done the "peel" on the glass on this case yet.
Will post more detailed pictures if anyone is interested in the internals and details on I/O or ARGB light ropes etc. I have a 3-wire ARGB controller coming to light the 6 ARGB 120mm additional case fans & ThermalRight Thermal Assasin ARGB tower cooler.
Best part is it runs 30* C cooler so the 1000w power supply fan almost never comes on and the factory case fans hardly speed up even under full heavy workloads.
Win-Win all the way.
