Aurora R10, CPU support
I have an Alienware Aurora R10 that came with a 5900 CPU. I pulled the CPU for use in another build. I tried installing a 3600 CPU to get it back up and running which did not work. From what I've read the microcode support for 3000 series is missing on systems that shipped with 5000 series CPU's.
Does anyone know if a Ryzen 5 5500 would work on this board? I'd like to get it up and running as cheaply as possible.

List of supported CPU's for the R10: R10 supported CPU's
5600X looks like the lowest supported verison.
Note: the 3000 series can only be used in the first generation R10, while the 5000 series can only be used in the second generation R10.

Thanks! I looked at that list before trying a Ryzen 5 3600 (it's listed as a supported model). It clearly isn't supported with my MB and/or Bios rev.

If it has a 5000 series CPU in in than a 3000 series CPU will not work, that is correct.
