Aurora R10, RTX 3070 compatible?
Hi guys,
I'm still pretty new to computer customization, and I've been looking to upgrade my GPU for a little while. With Nvidia's 30 series announcement I figured an upgrade to the 3070 would be a great upgrade for the price.
I'm not sure if the 3070 will fit in my Aurora 10 Ryzen case, the Nvidia website states the dimensions as 9.5" length and 4.4" width. It should also be noted, I have a Samsung M.2 SSD which is situated on the motherboard right below where the GPU would go.
Also, Nvidia recommends a 650W PSU, my Aurora 10 Ryzen is equipped with the modular 550W PSU. Will I have to upgrade my PSU as well?
Any help is appreciated for this novice, thank you!

9.5" x 4.4" is fine, as far as dimensions go. If you get the Founder's edition card, the PSU might block the airflow some. Also, the m2 pcie add in card blow, may also block airflow. The 3070, 3080, and 3090 move air like this - although the shroud has some differences in appearances, the air movement is the same. Note that the swing arm PSU sits above the rear flow through exhaust. Consider an Asus Turbo model, which will be coming out soon, if the airflow is important to you.

Thank you @Anonymous for answering all of my questions! I'll be on the lookout for other models coming out.
Alienware also sells an 850W PSU in their "modular" style. This may be a bit of a redundant question but am I safe to assume that this will be okay to fit in my R10?

The oem Dell 850w comes with 4x of 8 pin (6+2), it was sold with the r7, 8 and 9. R10 got an upgraded 1000w psu for the upgrade/sli option. You might consider a higher quality third party psu like the evga g5 gold in lieu of the oem delta/huntkey psu.
