Aurora R10, upgradable ram
I currently have a alienware aurora r10 ryzen edition and it has two 8gb sticks in it and im looking to upgrade to 32gb of ram total so my question is can I get 2 more 8gb sticks of ram and put them in my pc or do I need to take out the 2 8gb sticks previously installed and put in maybe 2 16gb sticks to get to 32gb? I've looked up alot of videos but they all have the people taking the old 2 8gb sticks out to put in 2 16gb sticks so im wondering if I can add 2 more 8gb sticks and have a total of 4-8 gig sticks of ram or if I should just get 2 16gb sticks of ram. Thank you for all the help and advice!

Yes, but it is not that simple. You also need the validated OEM memory, or you might take a chance it will cause all kind of issues ranging from the PC refusing to boot to shutting down or not running at the correct memory speed.
Aftermarket memory support is very limited on these machines.
OEM validated memory R10
If you are not tech savvy I would highly suggest to contact a Dell support agent to see what options are available to you for memory upgrades, because these systems can be very finicky when it comes to memory modules.
