Aurora R10, what AIO cooling will fit?
I recently bought a r10 with rtx 2080 super, 32 gigs of ram, Ryzen 9 3900x, and air cooling and shorty after use I realized how bad the air cooling option is...what AIO water coolers can I fit into my aurora r10 Ryzen? Maybe a https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Liquid-Cooling/Dual-Radiator-Liquid-Coolers/Hydro-Series%E2%84%A2-H100i-RGB-PLATINUM-SE-240mm-Liquid-CPU-Cooler/p/CW-9060042-WW

The H80i is too thick to fit in there with two fans. Using two fans on an H75 or H60 is really tight as it is. Both the H60 or H75 will fit, and you can use 2 fans with either AIO. The H75 comes with 2, but you will probably only be able to use 1. That is, you will most likely get a startup error unless you use at least one OEM or ML120 pro fan in push/pull with a Y splitter as the lead fan, or bypass it (or pull the 4th wire).

@Lousyeti98 :
That AIO is too big. Only 120mm maximum.

Thanks, would you recommend the H75 or H60? And this would fit my PC for sure? Without errors? Also would you recommend any dual fans or is single good? Sorry for all the questions I’m very new to this. One more thing, do I have a specific socket? I heard I need a AM4 socket?

you have AM4 socket but Dell has designed the OEM board to have square shaped heat sink mounting holes compatible with LGA1151 socket heat sink.

Would the H80i fit alright? Or the H75? Or the H100x these are all 120mm Corsair CPU AIO coolers BUT the H100 has dual fans and a longer radiator also if your not sure please tell me the absolute best CPU AIO water cooler I can fit into my aurora without startup issues. Thanks for the support

@111tend111 Just one thing to consider. You might have to remove the motherboard to install the thermaltake bracket. The nice thing with the corsair h60/75, is the bracket and screws use the same threading as the Dell oem bracket so you don't need to replace the oem bracket (which involves disconnecting everything and uninstalling the mobo). Nobody I know has tried the Thermaltake to check if it's the same or different.

You need to use intel brackets for the R10 because the R10 mobo uses intel's 75mm spacings. AMD bracket won't work because Dell's spacings aren't to amd spec.

There's no threading in the mobo. It's just holes. The threading is in the bracket. The bracket provides the threading. You remove the bracket there is nothing to attach the screws to.

TL;DR: If you swap around retail Intel cooler bracket + mounting screws/ standoffs with Dell OEM cooler, you just get lucky and it works because they are the same measurements. YMMV for fake-AMD mounting in Dell's OEM board. Best to find someone who has done this in their R10 and get a definite answer, and not from "Team Blue" here, including yours truly.
Herein lies the subtlety between the retail Corsair (Asetek) H55 and OEM version for Dell Alienware Aurora R8. The mounting brackets are similar but not exactly the same. In this first picture, I am showing the brackets and standoff for H55 retail:
If you look very closely below the bracket (or go to Corsair's website for the manual), you will see that the bracket is supported by separate pieces of standoff screws, made to LGA1151 or LGA2011 for the Intel bracket.
In Dell's OEM version, the standoff screws and the bracket are non-separable. I found this out the painful way when I stripped one screw top and when I finally managed to free the bracket, I could not take the bracket and marry it with the retail standoff screws. That's why I ended up with a shiny bracket and screws in the picture above. You can see what I meant by the "custom" OEM version of the bracket-screw below.

To use the Radiator Rice configuration / pull, you need to purchase a Corsair ML120 Pro Generator (Ido, not RBB). The ML120 Pro Y-splitter will connect to a 4-pin (PWM) side of the cable connected to a mobo carrier. If you do not want to fan Dell OEM Shulti, ML120 Pro is free of BIOS errors.

I just finished installing the thermaltake 3.0 I had to use the intel bracket.
It went smoothly i used the rgb fan and a ml120pro. It didn't give a bios error.
Looks pretty cool to have a little bit more rgb on top imo lol
