Aurora R11, AWCC, not responding
I just noticed the AWCC (Alienware Command Center) stopped working. My AlienFX light profile is active ( all accessories are lit to the color profiles) My OC has reverted to stock CPU speed. When I try to access the UI I get a blank page with the Alienware logo. I have done all of the updates including the V1.04 firmware. AWCC is V5.2.106.0.
How can I get this working again?

I uninstalled AWFXDisp_SmartInstaller_2.0.1.12, then rebooted. AWCC was working again minus the monitor. I then reinstalled AWFXDisp_SmartInstaller_2.0.1.12 shutdown the system and monitor. Performed a power drain and rebooted. When I started AWCC I got a spinning thingy in the middle of the screen with a message to wait 30 secs for the service to load. The screen refreshed to a blank (initial problem) then a second or two later refreshed with all peripherals including the monitor!

Hi @Data_Dan
Try closing AWCC, then go to "Services", restart the AW service, then wait 1 minute and start AWCC.
If that fails:

I uninstalled AWCC as per https://youtu.be/hGoNrBoumXI Then reinstalled Alienware-Command-Center-Application_J4MMM_WIN_5.2.106.0_A00_01 followed by ACCSmartInstaller_69H9K_1.1.24.0_WN32_A00 then Alienware-OC-Controls-Application_FH3TC_WIN64_1.3.13.1300_A00.
After rebooting, the R11 system case, AW510K keyboard, AW610M mouse and AW2721D monitor were all dark, which was to be expected.
I was able access AlienFX and configure the lighting for the system case, AW510K and AW610m but the AW2721D wasn't available. So it remained dark.
Here's where it gets interesting. I downloaded and installed AWFXDisp_SmartInstaller_2.0.1.12 for the monitor but it still wasn't available in FX.
I set the OC in Fusion to OC1 and rebooted.
On startup my new color profiles that were saved were active on the system case, mouse and keyboard but my monitor had my old color profile (it was dark b4 rebooting). I checked my OC with CPU-Z and it's active.
I tried to load AWCC to check if the monitor was available in FX and it wouldn't load, same problem as before. So what broke it?
BTW the system will now enter sleep mode whereas it wouldn't for the last few weeks.
Everything is setup to my liking but I am unable to use AWCC. How did my old color profile for the monitor somehow become enabled? Where is this info stored? Is the monitor software the problem?

As far as I know, AWCC is just a client and saves the changes requested to either the Service or to the Bios for OCing. The Service manages fans, lighting, sounds etc. If I took a wild guess: don't install AWFXDisp_SmartInstaller_2.0.1.12.
Your computer sleeps? AWCC acts also as a quick way of changing Windows Power plan, Windows comes with 3 by default, Power Saver, Balanced and Performance. Maybe this is why. More detail below to explain...
In my experience wierd things can happen if you do not adjust the advanced settings of all the Windows Power plans as they send things like HDDs, Wireless, etc. One example is HDDs sleeping, when this happened a few years back on me, I couldn't bring the system back to life.
I always go through Power Plans and remove all sleeping things whatever the plan, the settings below are not the default values when installing Windows:

I want my PC to sleep and I do customize the settings in Windows but I didn't realize that AWCC did it also. I think I found the answer here to why it wasn't going to sleep Solved: AW610 mystery bug
The AWCC not working is still an issue. I found this article for an older version Alienware FX light issues
I did update my Nvidia drivers prior to all this happening so maybe the power drain and reinstall is the answer.

USB Upstream cable connected to monitor?
Uninstall the last Disp one, does AWCC open?
Just FYI: My R8 AWCC adds all additional controls automatically when I open it after a fresh install.
