Aurora R11, CPU fan error code 2000-0511 after fix?

Hello all,

I have had my R11 for about 8 months. I have a 3080, I7-10700kf CPU and 32GB Ram. I bought it with a factory installed Alienware AIO Cooler. I've been running the moderate overclock 1 for a couple of months now. Everything runs hot, as expected but it was within spec. The other day when I went to boot up the pre systems check screen came on and gave me a cpu fan error code 2000-0511. After extensive research and troubleshooting I contacted dell. They have a tech on the way but in the meantime, I was impatient and ordered a Corsair H60 AIO with two ML120 Pro fans for a push pull configuration. I knew it had to be more than a fan because the temps on the CPU skyrocketed to 100 degree C. After a very professional installation (on my part) I still get the error code upon start up. The funny thing is that the fans are running fine, the cooler is working great and my temps are not down to below 50 degrees C. mid 60's when playing CPU intensive games.

I'm still waiting on the tech, as the service has been rescheduled numerous times but I don't know what else to do. I replaced the cooler, the fans, updated the BIOS, made sure the connections were installed correctly and even adjusted the fan curves manually to mess with it. Nothing clears that error code upon boot. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Ben

Doing the repairs and changes yourself could void your warranty. Save all the parts you removed. There is a severe parts shortage now. That could be causing delays in service.
