Aurora R11, CPU temps WAY too hot

So i have noticed my cpu temps have been way too hot (60 C idle) (up to 90 to 100 C stressed)

is there anyway i can fix these temps without buying a new fan or water cooled cpu fan?

I have tried to fix this problem in AWCC and yet to no prevail.

I have an aurora R11 built with intel core i7 10700 2.90 GHz and a RTX 2070 Super    air cooled

Besides just cranking the fans in AWCC, nope! All the other fixes require purchasing (Fans/thermal compound/etc) and/or tinkering.

That being said, those temps are still within acceptable limits for 10th gen Intel chips. At 100 your CPU may throttle, but it's not at risk of frying right before your eyes. Granted, it's still not the greatest for the long-term life of the component, but then again Dell would rather you just buy a new Alienware by the time your CPU wears out in 5+ years

Running your Dell inside an industrial freezer while wearing an Icestation Zebra Parka.

Basically, no. These systems are known to have heat issues when using air cooling due to the case design and limited air flow.

Only reason why it stops at around 100 Celsius is because the CPU is throttling itself to prevent permanent damage.

That's the temperature where water turns into steam, so I would say that's not a good idea to run electronics like that for an extended period of time.

Adding extra fans seems to help mine.

haven't found a VRM heat-sink  N1C1D source yet so I'm not adding liquid cooling.  Ordered one anyway so we will see in a few weeks if its a scam or not.

Site says not in stock but will be June 8 if ordered now.

When I asked for 2 it said July so I only ordered 1

Use a sata power splitter and Sata to fanwire.

Do not plug things into seemingly extra headers.

If you dont use a lot of 3.5 drives 92mm fans can be mounted in the cages when the caddys are removed.

Thats asking for trouble and possible damage to the fans as well as to the motherboard.

Lot of people have successfully bought the one linked on amazon, they've sold a lot of them.  Stock clears very quickly on each restock.
