Aurora R11, H80i, Pre System Bootup Check Fan Error

I upgrade to a Corsair H80i Liquid cooler which works well. The problem I have is that every time the computer reboots it keeps trying to test the CPU Fan and errors. Obviously I don't have a fan plugged into the CPU Fan port on the board because the pump plugs into the Pump spot. I am running the newest Bios 1.0.5.

What can I do to stop this error?

Try moving the 4PIN / single sense wire currently connected to the PUMP header over to the CPU FAN header.

The R11 has a cmos pins to reset. Do I still follow the instructions you sent?

Correct, removing the battery is the same result, just easier.

Putting it to the CPU pins worked. Thanks

Hi Teverz, I recently purchased the Corsair h80i version 2 and I'm having an issue finding the port for this USB only cord. Do you know the location to plug it into? Did I buy the wrong water pump?

That should go to a USB header on the motherboard, but if I am not mistaken you will not have one available.

Thanks man! I did some research and it works perfectly fine without that connection.
