Aurora R11, RTX3080, for mining?
Is anyone using the Aurora R11 with RTX3080 for mining?
I started using mine recently and I see high Vram Temps up to 100 Degrees Celsius and the fan stays at 100% all the time. In order to reduce temps and fan speeds I must drop power limit to 62% and I see a drop in Mh/sec from 90 to 70. I think the Dell RTX3080 does not have good thermal pads in the memory chips and you cannot use it 24/7 for mining. Has anyone tried to replace the pads on the Dell RTX3080?
Are we voiding the warranty by doing that? Is there a video on youtube showing how to replace the pads on a Dell RTX 3080? I am not comfortable to leave the memory chips at 100 Degrees and the fan at 100% all the time the machine is mining. Are there any good waterblocks for the Dell RTX3080? When I reduce power limit the temps drop at 90-94 degrees and the fan goes to 70% - 80% which is more acceptable but the Mh/s drop to 70 from 90-95.
Anyone mining please chime in!

They all have that design. Dropping the power limit has to be done to ensure the card does not destroy itself when mining tasks are being performed.

Check youtube now. There are 2 main videos but one just adds paste and changes the case fan. He got some great temperature drops. He is in a basement and got 74C junction when mining. Others did it and still got 80-86C mining.
