Do not use the existing cables. You have to use the cables that came with the Corsair PSU,

The PSU is labeled for each cable type and each of the Corsair cables is labeled as to its type. At the PSU there are 6-pin ports, 8-pin ports, and one 24-pin (14 + 10) port. Just connect the matching Corsair cables to the appropriate PSU port. Do not force any cable connections.

It looks like the black connectors in your old PSU are PCIe cables that would power the graphics card. The new Corsair cables labeled "PCIe" would connect to the 8-pin "6+2 PCI-E" ports in the Corsair PSU and would power your graphics card.
DO NOT USE ANY CABLES FROM YOUR OLD PSU.

The service manual will show all the connectors for the motherboard: R12 service manual
You connect them with your new cables, and they will be labeled.
Take a picture of everything before you start, so you know what went where.
DO NOT use the cables from your old PSU, and if the connector does not insert properly it's likely the wrong cable. Don't try to force it in.

graphics card, CPU and ATX 24-pin is correct as circled
This would be power for SATA HDD, SSD, optical drive, and any other peripherals you might have in your rig. If you do not have any, then you don't need to connect any more cables. That is the benefit of a fully modular PSU.

Hey, for the connection of Aurora R12 with Corsair RM1000 PSU try this:
1: Connect to your network using a cable, or connect to a wireless network.
2: Connect the display.
NOTE The DisplayPort on the back panel of your computer is covered. Connect the display to the discrete graphics card of your computer.
Or for more instructions search at manuals.plus
