What do you have settings on?  BIOS o/c?  AWCC o/c?  Check the voltages the cpu is getting.

Max voltage to CPU under Cinebench multicore is 1.483 (No OC), Max speed 5087Mhz, Max Temp 100C for CPU package.

Idle the CPU is getting 1.287v without OC.

Same for me, Cinebench went down by 10% from 25000 to 23100 and temps are hitting 100c under 30c.

I'll need to roll back to the previous bios.

FYI - No OC - i9 12900 - 3080ti - 32gb ram

I have no issues with my Cinibench scores and v1.2.1, I got 26,076 and my temps topped out at 90c.

I do have an issue with the RGB lights in the tower though. Prior to updating AWCC (this was a recommended auto update by smart assist) everything was fine. After AWCC was patched the lights go out and stay out in the tower on restart and until windows starts and I go into AWCC to view the profile (don't have to select anything) and the lights in the tower come back on. My mouse and keyboard do not exhibit this problem and boot properly with the pre selected RGB lights.

So I thought flashing to v1.2.1 was the answer, but no. Problem still exists. It's a minor inconvenience really, but I'd sure like to fix it.

Cinibench isnt important. However, your RGB lights are, did you try to restore manual all fans and after you make a change store as well in AWCC? So you need to 3 times store rgb profile, maybe that will help to solve your problem

Cinebench is important, more important than some RGB lighting

I seemed to have fixed my problem with RGB lights in tower. I saved the active default theme within AWCC and problem is resolved. Thanks for the help.

Hi

The first time I tried this Bios I had issues stated above.
I then reverted back to the Nov Bios, which is very stable. However I have since tried the above (latest) Bios again, which actually game me different results to the first installation of it. No more 100c on cores when running Cinebench. I am getting fan fault errors on start up. I have reverted back to Nov Bios.0

Has anyone else had similar problems?

Thanks

Do you have the Noctua or other aftermarket fans installed? I think I read someplace that this was an issue with the 1.2.1 bios.

I'm now on the Dec Bios as the November Bios for the first time caused problems when updating the nvidia drivers, crashing the PC. The  Dec bios used to cause problems for me with fan fault but it doesn't now strangely, but all is well it's running great.

Yes I have Noctua fans in my system, 7 to be exact with a Phanateks on a push pull. But is very, very quiet now no matter what the PC is doing.
