Aurora R13, compatible with DDR4 memory?
Curious given the current lack of DDR5 availability, is the Aurora R13 compatible with DDR4 memory? Thanks.

No, DDR4 cannot be used instead of DDR5. See the FAQ Aurora R13.

A board is either DDR4 or DDR5 it cannot be both, the pin layout does not match.

Yeah, I'll just have to be patient.

Looks like Asus is working on a convertor card. With the current pricing of DDR5 modules this might make sense, although this could just be an experimental card and might never come to the market.
I would not recommend it or say that is the solution, but something like this happened when DDR4 modules came out so you could keep using your DDR3 modules.
