Aurora R13 Critical_Process_Died error on WIn11 reinstall
Greetings,
My R13 is a few years old and has been pretty solid up until last weekend. I was updating audio drivers and it got stuck in the middle and froze. I did a hard reboot and ended up in a WinRE boot loop. I tried recovering from a backup, etc etc. Nothing was working, so I made the decision to do a clean Win11 reinstall.
I got errors during that too, and long story short, now no matter what I do I end up at a black screen "Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart. We'll restart for you" and "Stop Code: CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED (0xEF)" at the bottom.
During one of the more recent loops, it did boot into the Alienware recovery environment and did a hardware check, which passed. But, I'm at the end of my knowledge of what to do next. Any advice would be appreciated.

Not being able to survive a complete Windows clean-install usually points to a hardware problem of some kind.
The UEFI/BIOS area ePSA Diags Test is a good start, but it will only detect the major problems (can only validate up to about 85% good).
Additional Troubleshooting steps would be the same as I listed here:
