Aurora R13, Dell RTX 4080 connection issue
Alienware Aurora R13
Hello, I have ran into a problem here. I am kind of new to the whole PC gaming world and when it comes to the technical aspect of it I am just a complete noob, but a quick learner. I currently have an Alienware Aurora R13 paired with an i7-12700 and an RTX 3090. I recently purchased from a friend of mine an Dell OEM RTX 4080 which measures 12x5x2 inches and it fits perfectly on my R13. Now, here is where it starts to get complicated for me, I noticed that this Dell 4080 has a different power connector which now features a 16-pin, but the cables that come out my Dell 750W Platinum PSU as you can see on my images only has 4 cables consisting of 2x8-Pin and 2x6-Pin.
I was told I will be needing an adapter but I was not given a link or image to one. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Actually it is i9-12900K (possibly KS)
If you had a 3rd party mobo from a manufacturer that released bios updates . . . but you have a Dell.
what about this link ?

Like the professor already mentioned, Alienware has limited upgrade capabilities when compared to a retail motherboard.

I understand, and do you know of any app that can enable me the option to control the Top, Rear and Front fans ? It seems that the AWCC does not let me do such a thing.

To my knowledge, AWCC is your only option. Another design decision, to use a fan controller that is not supported by other software...

If you jump to lightspeed with external radiator cooling you will not need to be concerned with controlling your case fans.

I just want to say Thank You to ProfessorW00d for his help and pinpointing me in the right direction, I finally received my (Dell OEM) RTX 4080 which I still do not know how did I even come across this card but I am fortunate enough that I did because the fit is just perfect for an Aurora R13 and the fact that zero mods are required is a plus. No need to remove anything. I did some benchmarks on EzBench which uses Unreal Engine 5 and it basically stress tests the life out of your GPU. This test was performed with a room temperature of 75 F under 99% load and as you can see on my images, the overall temp was 60F and the Memory Junction which is the one that I always have my eye on was just at around 56F. To me this is mind blowing considering that I was used to my Dell OEM 3090 thermals and the overall temp on that one under this same test was about 79F and the Memory J. was at 94-96 F. So it is literally a day and night difference here.

Well I had 2x8-Pin and 2x6-Pin coming out my PSU so what I did was purchase a Dual 6-Pin to 8-Pin Adapter and then I also bought the OEM Nvidia 12VHPWR 12+4 Pin PCIE 5.0 to 3x8-Pin Adapter and that really was it.

I don't . . . try contacting Dell. Are you just looking for the additional vents? I'm not 100% sure if an R15 side panel would fit your R13.

It seems unlikely, since ATX format for PSU's means 150mm tall, 86mm wide, and the length of the PSU can vary depending on their size.
