Aurora R13, random Alert noise
Alienware Aurora R13
This is my first Alienware, and I am very pleased, except for this new issue that seems to have popped up. I have a random notice-style sound, (not a small speaker beep). The sound emits through the sound system speakers. Approx every 1 to 5 minutes. If I mute the speakers, the sound goes away. There's no notification that is associated with it (e.g. new email, new fb post, etc.). I can even hear the sounds without any apps running. Not sure about the 100+ service task running? I thought about shutting those down individually, but I am unsure what the minimum would be? I have had the problem for a while, but it's getting worse. It's so bad, that I have to mute my speakers in order to work because it's so distracting. Even under a newly created profile, I still have the problem (without starting any apps). I have updated my bios, and updated all drivers. No change any problem. I have talked to Dell support twice already.
Here's a recording of the sound I made -> https://vimeo.com/806419575

The Aurora R13 shipped back in September 2022. How long has the issue been happening? Reminder, the retail 15 month warranty expires this December.
That sound is a device disconnecting or reconnecting.
* List every cable plugged into the Aurora R13
* List every peripheral device plugged into the Aurora R13
* List every peripheral device plugged into both monitors

Have you linked your cell phone to Windows 11?

No, I have not. Good thought though.

It very helpful to know that the sound was associated with a device connecting and reconnecting. I had a very old Dell mouse that I have used for 10+ years. I moved it over to my laptop, and guess what the laptop started doing ?!?!? Super easy fix!! Good work!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
