Aurora R13/R14, RGB fans

Has anyone tested to see if the three system fans can support/use RGB 4 pin fans? Would look nice to change the stock three to RGB fans since the CPU rad fan is RGB.

I'm also really interested to know this.

Don't bother. I ran across a utube video yesterday, the front fans are not centered when looking at the front of the machine. The upper fan can be done though. He had also RGBd his ram. I've been looking, but Ddr5 is hard to come by at a decent price.

The rear fan which is used for the CryoTech CPU cooler supports RGB. I believe the front 2 fans as well. They all have a 7 pin header just beside the 4 pin PWM fan header. Only the top fan doesn't have an RGB header. Unfortunately the RGB headers used in this system is a proprietary one with 7 pins. They are not the usual 4 pin or 3 pin ones. If you can somehow find the same RGB fan as used in the CPU cooler then you can replace the front chassis fans with them. Alternatively if somebody figures out the connection of the 7 pins then you can make a 7 pin to 3 or 4 pin adapter to use with an aftermarket RGB fan. But as Valistar mentioned, the front fans are not centered when you look at them from the front.

Interesting. A 7 pin header and only 4 wires connected, or all are 7 connected?

Sounds like case fan upgrades might be tricky on this model.

I don't care much for the fans being seen through the front anyway, just the rgb for the interior lighting. I might ask Dell if I can buy 2 of the RGB fans off of them see if they will let me. I use RGB ram already, Corsair veng pro rgbs

I got mine Aurora r13 with the 65w air cooler (excellent choice for 12th gen i9 Dell). Needless to say the pc was impossible to use with that meagre cooler, so I purchased the Cryo-tech liquid cooler and fitted it. It works fine apart from the fact that the rgb on the Cryo-tech is not working and I cant find why. Contacted Dell a few times but nothing, anyone has any ideas?

Does 'fitted it' include connecting the pump LED connector to the FAN_PUMP_LED header on the motherboard, just above the fan pump header FAN_PUMP?

How i can test since i search my eyes to the bones for those other rgb?

As a Fabric user i only have 1 rgb fan, more modification on that are not needed and imo not recommended.

I got em all working with the R13, Here is what is working 240MM CryoTech Rad, along with the original RGB fan. AWCC also detects CryoTech Cooler to change lights and everything. So happy it worked out! Here are some pics!

@GreenBeretNo1 Hello, I have Aurora R14 and I purchased part FFD35. I just want to know how many wire do you need to connect to the mother board for yours to work? and where did you plug them. Thank you.
