Aurora R14, missing front fan
I recently got my Aurora R14 a few days ago and I did some upgrades a day later.
I upgraded the memory to 64GB (4x16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB), swapped the Radeon 5300 to a Geforce RTX 2060 and swapped the 256GB NVME SSD with a 1TB NVME SSD (Samsung).
After upgrading it, I decided to do a hardware test, where it said "System Fan 3 Failed to respond correctly". There's a problem with that, there's no fan on the FAN_SYS3 port. Now each time I boot, SupportAssist keeps saying System Fan 3 failed.
No fan plugged in here.
Where the fan should be.

call Dell. they forgot to install a front chassis fan in your pc?
there should be three chassis fans, two at front and one top . this is in addition to cpu pump fan.

well Dell fan is quite generic and this model uses standard 4 pin so you can just get a fan yourself if Dell cannot ship you a missing component. but you should ask Dell why they sell you a new model w a missing fan. sounds shady.

Yeah....
I also forgot to mention that the RTX card was the dell OEM card that was in a Aurora R11. I wonder why it's throwing out a fan error.

Sorry for the double post, but here's a little update/discovery I made.
When support told me to swap back the original, I thought it wouldn't make a difference. But it did. Here's what happened.
RTX2060 with 64GB of Mem = SysFan3 Error
RTX2060 with 16GB of Mem that came with it = SysFan3 Error
RadeonRX5300 with 16GB of Mem = No Error
RadeonRX5300 with 64GB of Mem = No Error

What about a fan bracket? It didn't come with that as well.

so even though it is indeed missing a front chassis fan, with the Dell oem gpu installed, it would not give error? strange that they would ship the pc with a missing chassis fan?

The AMD Card that came with it had 1 fan.
The Nvidia card that came out of the R11 also had 1 fan.

Does the original card have 3 fans and the RTX card 2 fans?

Doesn't the cheapest config only come with one front fan? Safe to assume SysFan3 is probably the same as the front fan in the R11 and the GPU bios from Dell on the 2060 is causing it to fail to find one( doesn't exist but the R11 only had one so it would have passed the check in it's intended system )

I would contact @DELL-Cares to assist with this, as they are best suited to assist with any warranty issues.

RX5300 is an OEM only model card and is generally a single fan card

Got the fan parts today, strangely though, they also gave me a fan for the top of the case (thats above the water cooler), Plugged it in. Turn the computer on....nothing, the fan is not spinning. I plugged the RTX 2060 back in, same error still pops up, fan not spinning.
